A few months ago I saw a super gimmick-ie informercial about this magical kitchen tool that turns vegetables into pasta with just a few twists: The Veggetti. Now, I'm not usually one to buy anything "As Seen on TV," but I LOVE pasta and this was one $15 risk worth taking.
Needless to say, my Veggetti & I have become very close ever since she's arrived! We've made batches on batches of zucchini pasta, yellow squash pasta and even shredded hash-browns!
Best part, it's really as simple as it looks. Simply clean and peel (optional) your veggies and twist them through the Veggetti. There is a thick side for fettuccine style (my fave!), or you can try the skinny blade for your classic spaghetti noodles. Once you have your "noodles," simply boil them for 3-5 minutes and drain. As for toppings, the pasta-bilities are endless :)
